Samaaro is a B2B Enterprise SaaS product company that helps brands in organizing both virtual and hybrid events that in turn enables them to generate qualified marketing leads. Most of the brands consider events as one of their primary lead generation channels. Hence, they tend to spend a lot of money & time in participating and hosting them. Over 45% of marketers say that the primary goal of virtual events is to generate leads. However, they are unable to generate sufficient insights and channels to reach their potential leads. Plenty of business opportunities are thus lost due to inefficient lead generation and aftermath management of the same leads. Thus, Organisers struggle to create a unique and novel experience for their audience & sponsors.

Most importantly addressing the inefficient lead generation and aftermath management of event leads, Samaaro provides an Analytics Dashboard and Moderator Dashboard which can seamlessly integrate with the respective CRM channels of the barnds.
Samaaro aims to target the event industry, which is a trillion-dollar industry, under which the Virtual event industry is currently valued at $120 Bn while growing at a CAGR of 25%. Compared to the competition in this field, Samaaro offers better Customization, Personalization, Lead Generation, and Historical Analytics with a Lower TAT.
Samaaro has helped over 1000+ brands ( Notable clients include Google, Amazon, Salesforce, Huawei, L&T, Qualcomm) present in over 150+Countries to over 500K Attendees so far. This translates to a revenue estimate of INR 7 Cr for the current year, with revenue growth of nearly 3x on a Y-O-Y basis. The company operates with a gross margin of 88% with an estimated LTV/CAC ratio of 5 and a minimal burn multiple of less than one.
Post this round, Samaaro is targeting to achieve an annual revenue rate of INR 64 Cr in the next 3 years by keeping expanding into the North American region as a prime focus going forward.
About the Founders
1. Purnank Prakash – B.Tech (NIT-Trichy) – Ex-SAP LABS – 7+ years of experience in the event management space industry developing various interactive AR/VR/MR, IOT, 3D & Holographic Projections related solutions that empower businesses.
2. Mayank Banka – B.Tech (NIT-Trichy) – Ex-EXL Analytics & Souq.com (Now amazon.ae) – 7+ years of experience in the events industry having assisted various Fortune 500 companies with customer, marketing and digital analytics.
Details of the round
The company is looking to raise INR 5 Cr at a Pre-money valuation of INR 25 Cr, INR 3.5 Cr worth of commitments already secured from a Micro VC and an Angel Fund. Samaaro is aiming to close this year at a revenue of INR 7 Cr giving it a very attractive valuation multiple of 4.28X (Median Multiple being 10.6x for SaaS companies), which has led to over 70% of the current round being subscribed already.
The investment opportunity is open to Both Network and Fund members with The minimum commitment for Lead Angels investors to the company is INR 5 Lakhs*. In case commitments exceed the allocated amount, allotment will be on the “First Come, First Serve” basis.
