Baaz aims to revolutionize online selling for retail stores. The live video shopping stores let sellers host live videos to showcase products, manage inventory in real-time, collect secure and seamless payments, and send out shipments from a single mobile app. Customers can experience live video shopping through a simple shareable link, without downloading any mobile app.
The Baaz team now has eight members and has done over 600 live shows, got more than 60,000 viewers, and their GMV is at ~2x growth. The startup has over 30+ customers across fashion, organic, lifestyle, beauty, and the books categories.
According to industry estimates, homegrown social commerce startups onboarded over 10 million resellers and raised $100 million in funding in the past 12 months.
Their mission is to provide a TV-like experience while all their competitors provide a newspaper-like experience.

The pre-money valuation for the current round is INR 12 cr.
In the current round, the company intends to raise 3.5 cr for an 8-12 months runway through CCPS.
The company is looking to raise 1 cr from Lead Angels Network. The minimum commitment to the company is INR 5 Lakhs. In case commitments exceed the ask amount, allotment will be on the “First Come, First Serve” basis.
